Features

Between the upload and the post

EditoAI works in stages: plan, review, caption, edit, reframe, dub, merge, publish and download. Here’s what each stage does.

Upload and planning

Upload a file. Choose the clips you want.

EditoAI takes MP4, MOV, MKV and WebM files. The upload page reads the file’s length in your browser to price it; if it can’t, use MP4, MOV or WebM.

Four clip lengths

Micro, 20–60 seconds. Mini, 1–8 minutes. Mid, 8–25 minutes. Long, 30–90 minutes.

Three planning modes

Quick: single-pass planning. Deep: better planning quality. Deep Category: category-specific coverage. Deep and Deep Category cost the same.

The cost, before you upload

The upload page reads your file’s duration and shows the credit cost for the planning mode you picked. Processing starts when you say so.

Clip review

Clips that explain themselves

Each planned clip card shows a score out of 10. Open “Why this works” to read the AI’s reasoning for that clip. Approve the clips you want and reject the rest.

A score helps you choose. It doesn’t guarantee views.

Captions and languages

Transcripts and subtitles in 60 languages

Transcribe and translate

Transcribe in 60 languages, Albanian and English included. Translate a clip’s subtitles into any of them in Edit Clip. Translation costs 2, 5 or 10 credits, depending on how many subtitle segments the clip has.

Name your speakers

Rename speakers and merge duplicates into one real speaker.

11 caption styles

Pick from 11 caption styles in Edit Clip, including Karaoke, Neon and Typewriter. Captions are burned into the video when you render an edit or an Auto Reframe. Auto Reframe offers five of the styles.

Editing

Three editors and five design presets

Open a clip in Edit Clip, Edit Pro or Fast Edit. Start from one of five design presets in the Edit Clip toolbar.

Auto Reframe

One clip, four formats

Auto Reframe renders a clip at 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9.

Reframe a batch

Reframe all of a video’s approved clips at once, with one set of settings.

Automatic B-roll

Add cutaways to free stock footage, shown full frame, picture-in-picture or on auto. It works on clips up to 10 minutes long. It adds 2 credits to a render, or nothing if no footage is added.

Your branding

Save an intro, an outro and a watermark in Settings. Switch them on per clip in Auto Reframe.

Dubbing

Dub clips with cloned voices

In Edit Clip, pick a language and generate a dub that clones each speaker’s voice. If a voice can’t be cloned, a preset voice is used.

Dub Studio

Choose the voice for each speaker: the cloned voice or a preset. If a speaker doesn’t have enough clean audio to clone, a preset voice is used.

Merge

Merge up to 50 videos into one

Upload the parts, drag them into order, and choose a format and a transition. Then generate clips from the merged video if you want them.

Publishing

Publish now or schedule it

Connect YouTube, TikTok and Instagram in Settings. Publish a clip now, or pick a date and time.

AI titles and descriptions

Let AI write the title and description, or write your own. No extra credits.

Instagram Reels

Clips go to Instagram as Reels. You need an Instagram business account linked to a Facebook Page.

AI thumbnails for YouTube

When you publish to YouTube, describe the look you want and generate a thumbnail. It needs a verified YouTube channel and costs 8 credits per image.

Downloads

Download one clip or the whole set

Download a clip as an MP4, or download a video’s clips as one ZIP file.
